Leslie Jones, originally from Ponca City, Oklahoma, holds an MFA in Dance from Texas Woman’s University (2014) and a BFA in Dance and Minor in Music from the University of Central Oklahoma (2009). She holds teaching certificates for dance and instrumental music in both Oklahoma and South Carolina. Leslie danced professionally with Oklahoma City’s modern and aerial dance company, Perpetual Motion following her undergraduate studies. Leslie has taught dance since 2004 and has continued to teach various levels and ages in modern, ballet, choreography, jazz, tap, and creative dance. She has also served as an adjudicator for the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute ballet program. 

In 2014 Leslie moved to South Carolina to teach dance in public schools. In 2015 Jones joined the College of Charleston as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Dance. In addition to teaching at the College, Leslie teaches at the Charleston County School of the Arts, Ballet Academy of Charleston, and Dance Moves of Charleston.
